Why Join:

Membership entitles you to:

  • Apply for ANX-SIG awards. There are two awards geared toward our student members and new professionals. For students, two awards are given at the poster exposition at the annual ABCT conference. Students who are first authors on their posters are eligible to win a $250 cash prize to help defray the cost of the conference. The new professional award is awarded during the ANX-SIG meeting at the annual ABCT conference to a professional who has received their degree within the past five years.
  • Newsletters that provides information about ANX-SIG activities, features articles about anxiety research, and seeks contributions from ANX-SIG members.
  • An abstract book that contains subject organized titles and abstracts of all anxiety-related publications from the previous calendar year. This book is distributed during the summer to all current professional and student members.
  • Inclusion on the ANX-SIG listserv to facilitate CBT referrals, pose questions, and easily communicate with professionals who have shared interests
