ABCT Anxiety SIG Poster Submissions Announcement

We are seeking Anxiety SIG Poster submissions for the annual poster exposition at the ABCT convention in Orlando, FL (November 13 – 16, 2008)! Abstracts should be a page or less and include all authors names and affiliations, as well as the contact information for the first author (ABCT and ABCT ANX SIG membership is required for submission). For students (not yet having completed your doctoral training) who are first authors, please also indicate if you would like to be considered for one of the two $250 student awards that are determined at the abstract exposition. The deadline for submission this year will be June, 30th. Abstracts should be submitted as word document attachments to:

ABCT Anxiety SIG Early Career Award: Call for Nominations

The ABCT Anxiety SIG is now accepting nominations for the 2008 Early Career Award. This award will be offered to an Anxiety SIG Member who has completed his or her training (e.g., psychology doctorate, psychiatry residency) in the last five years. The award will be announced at the annual meeting of the Anxiety Disorders SIG at the AABT/ABCT conference. Decisions regarding this award will be made by the members of the Anxiety Disorders SIG Advisory Board. The award will include a cash prize of $500 to help with costs associated with attending the conference. The deadline for submissions is June 30th , 2008.

If you are interested in being considered for this award, please forward your curriculum vitae, a brief (no more than two pages) statement of your professional contributions in the area of anxiety disorders, and two letters of reference to:
